It takes a special kind of horse to be a pick up horse.
Not all horses can be a pickup horse, but most pickup horses can do it all.
The horses being offered in this years sale are a testament to that statement.
Lot #86  -  In Bar Macys Candy aka "Levi"  -  $10,000.00
10yr Old Bay Gelding     -     Registration# 5242706

Levi is a 10yr old gelding that has been ranched on since he was broke to ride.
He has lived on the Winchester Ranch in Southeast Arizona since he was purchased as a 2yr old.
Not only is he great to pickup broncs and shag bulls on, you can also head, heel, breakaway
and run barrels on him. He won the WPRA Jr. Barrel Racing Average
at the Turquoise Circuit Finals in October. He is pretty athletic, fast and easy to be around.

Maxx was started like a cow horse and really rides around nice.
He is just as honest as they come and is good in every situation.
He has branded thousands and has picked up a lot of buckers.
He baby sits mother in laws and is as nice of horse as you can find.
If you are looking for a horse, and even if you weren't, this is the horse for you!

Lot #90  -  Willy  -  $4,500.00
11yr Old Dun Gelding

Willy is an 11yr old Dun Gelding that stands 16.1 and weighs 1400lbs.
I have used him on the ranch the past 6 years. From tagging calves in the pasture,
doctoring yearlings outside, to dragging calves to the fire.
This past year I have started taking him to rodeos and he has done it all.
From gathering bucking horses to sorting bucking horses and bulls in the back pens.
I started him in the arena picking up horses and carrying flags.
He has a lot of go and a big motor in the arena. He's calm and quiet outside of the arena.
Safe & Sound. Good to shoe. He wears a #2 shoe.

Lot #93  -  Keystone  -  $11,500.00
11yr Old Grey Gelding

Keystone is as gentle as they come! Anyone can ride him.
He can be used to carry flags, has been in many openings, doubles as a team roping horse,
and he’s a favorite of the judges to flag on as well.

Pick up barebacks or broncs on him, it doesn’t matter to him.
He loved them all and he is just as good either way.
Keystone will pull em out in the bull riding also.

I have used this horse at some of pro rodeos biggest stages including
the RAM finals, Ft Worth, Tucson, Austin, and Ogden just to mention a few!
You name it he’s been there! No arena is too big or too small for him!
He has a lot of run when you need it and a calm cool mind when you don’t.
He’s guaranteed safe and sound for anyone!
